The primary focus of the nano-filtration is on the removal of micro-pollutants and organics from water. These micro-pollutants, such as pesticides, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and microplastic are a growing threat to the quality of our drinking water supplies. The principle of filtration is that they block all kinds of micro-pollutants. Nanofiltration combines the advantages of a low-pressure with the ability to remove impurities in one simple step.
Air to Water
An atmospheric water generator is a device that extracts water from humid ambient air. Water vapour in the air can be extracted by condensation - cooling the air below its dew point, exposing the air to desiccants, or pressurizing the air. This technology is useful where pure drinking water is difficult or impossible to obtain because there is almost always a small amount of water in the air that can be extracted.
Safe and readily available water is important for public health, whether it is used for drinking, domestic use, food production or recreational purposes. Improved water supply and sanitation, and better management of water resources, can boost countries’ economic growth and can contribute greatly to poverty reduction.
In 2019, 5.3 billion people used safely managed drinking-water services available when needed, and free from contamination.
